A presentation by Brett McKay, founder of the Art of Manliness website, and co-author (with his wife Kate) of the book of the same name.
"The Menaissance is really about men holding themselves to a higher standard, and becoming the best, most well rounded man they can be."
Brother McKay is a member of Lodge Veritas No. 556 in Norman, Oklahoma.
Preach it, Brother.
H/T to Bro. Jeremy Gross.

I follow this blog and it always has great information. What I love about it the most is it speaks to the culture of manliness and isn't a sexist attempt of humor. I saw this video by accident one day and have followed him since. Excellent stuff.
I have been a member of Brother Brett's community for a few years, and I am consistently delighted by the quality of the men I meet there. It is a rare website where an Evangelical Christian, and a gay atheist can have a civil, mutually respectful conversation. It speaks to Bro. Brett's leadership that he provides a space where men can check their prejudices and respect each other in their discussions.
I have enjoyed reading his blogs for a while now. I had no idea he was a Mason. Although I can't say I'm surprised.
He was blogging before he was a Mason. There's actually a 'Freemasonry' group on the social aspect of his website, and within it a thread mentioning when he was initiated. Honestly not sure when he was passed/raised, or if he has been yet. But I think he search into honorable manliness led him to the craft. And he's certainly someone I don't have a problem representing us. Never heard him say anything that would reflect badly on Freemasonry, and I wish him only the best.
